About These Benchmarks

Data Sources

Benchmarks are compiled from public reports by Adapty, RevenueCat, and AppFigures (2024-2025). Ranges represent 25th, 50th, and 75th percentile performance across apps in each category.

Understanding the Metrics

  • Trial Start Rate: Users who see paywall → start trial
  • Trial-to-Paid: Trial starters → paying subscribers
  • Overall: The product of both (what really matters)

What Affects These Numbers

  • Paywall timing: Hard paywalls convert differently than soft paywalls
  • Trial length: 3-day vs 7-day vs 14-day trials have different conversion patterns
